I'm hoping she'll provide info about the sire. He looks light in some but darker in others... Either way, he IS adorable. ;) Have you seen other creams that just don't look very creamy? Aside from the appy smokey blacks of course. ;) lol Hope everyone had a great holiday too, btw!

The picture taken at night/with a flash, that one he looked slightly Bay. In a couple he looked slightly sooty Buckskin, but I'd still go with Smoky Black....did you test him??

No :( I really want to though, just can't seem to remember/get around to it, and when I am at the barn with him it seems to be the first thing I forget lol.

I own the sire & leased the mare for 3 yrs, the lease ended shortly after she was bred & he is indeed the sire.

Bucky (the guy this thread is about) o/o a Bay mare.

I didn't breed any of the above foals however would be classed as the breeder of the last boy you are all talking about. :)

He was most certainly bred to the bay mare ([u]remember NO ONE knows her breeding/colour background[/u]) but she did give me a Bay Tobiano from a Bay Tobiano stallion.... only other stallion on the property at the time was a Black Silver but he was a 32.5" Mini 2yo colt & came to the property 3 days after the Bay mare was put in (whilst heavily in season) with the Cremello. ;)

Oh & i've seen Buckskins this Bay/Dark before, i'll find a pic for you all. LOL!!!
