I need some interpretation on the results of the UC Davis test results -
"Coat Color results for 09F LITE THAT SPARKLE(DT21498):
Red-Factor Result:
e/e - Only the red factor detected. Basic color is sorrel or chestnut in the absence of other modifying genes.
Agouti Result:
a/a - Only recessive allele detected. Black pigment distributed uniformly. Basic color is black in the absence of other modifying genes."
On the Red-Factor Results - I understand that he is a cremello based on the fact that they only detected the red factor.
On the Agouti Results - It says only the recessive allele detected - so does what does that mean? Please interpret.
Thanks - Carolyn

I'm just a little to the north of you in North Richland Hills. I'll have to come down sometime.
ACC, you know Hotternhel (from fugly) and I both live around here, you better ring us up when you come down!
