Buckskin/cream?

First picture as a filly with dam. Sire is solid black. Do you see cream/buckskin? Mom? I am wondering now because of the previous post I did on Islands Celebration. This is Islands Captiva....
I can't tell which photos are the foal and which are the dam?
The first photo is the mare in question as a foal with her dam. The rest are her now as a 3 year old.
Ok I think the dam is seal brown and the filly is seal brown cream.
For learning purposes....what tells you that?

The dam is just classic seal + pangare'.

The filly... it's just the tone. It's not quite right for just seal + panagare'. See how red/orange her dam is and how tan/cream she is?

Morgan Colors has a good example of a seal and her seal cream daughter:

You can see the difference in their muzzle colors and a slight difference in the body tone.

So it's getting an "eye" for these things. Her breeder did call her a buckskin when she was born but I just looked at her papers and she is registered as a bay. Her dam is registered as a buckskin and her grandsire as a buckskin. Her grandsire is JJ's Little Buck for those that know of him. (Same Grandsire to other post Islands Celebration)

Granddam mom side is silver black

Sire's side grandsire is silver black: Lowery's Lil Candyman

Her sire is black: Islands Temptation

Another picture of her dam: Islands Montserrat

It looks like maybe the cream came from dam's side?
