Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

Forums

First new users have to answer a simple question when they register that is seperate from the captcha picture. This should block most of the spambots. As for human posters...I've enabled a message queue for new users. The first 3 posts have to be moderator approved before they can post freely. This should stop or at least discourage human spammers. So please moderators/admins, check the moderator control panel and approve appropriate posts. Delete and ban inappropriate users. We haven't had any spam yet as the site is new but I expect that things will pick up as time goes on so doesn't hurt to be prepaired.

Kewl! I still think we should have a members-only section, especially for the general chit-chat type section. Educational/for sale/etc. sections can be left open to public view (i.e., anyone wandering into the site who isn't a member.

I suppose that works as long as it is only the general section. I would want to leave the color parts available for non members so people can use the posts as research without having to join.
