This is my Shetland colt Star who I want to put through his stallion test soon I just want to verify his colour, He is registered as Red roan, I think he has other genes in play, I think he has Pangare because the lightness of legs and nose and other soft points and of course flaxen so what do you guy think?
His dam is Chestnut her sire is Cream Dun (His parents are both registered as chestnut so there is a mistake somewhere there) and her sire is Chestnut. Star's sire is Red roan his sire's sire is red roan and Star's Sire's Dam is Chestnut.

His 'Arm pits' are lighter
His 'Arm pits' are lighter then the rest of him as well and his muzzle. Hence me thinking pangare as well as flaxen.
Pangare causes flaxen manes
Pangare causes flaxen manes and tails on it's own without flaxen on red pigment. Pangare bays don't get flaxen manes and tails because of black pigment at their points.
I think red roan with likely just pangare.
flaxen?
