Bay or Bay Dun? Tobiano

Yeah that's what I was
Yeah that's what I was thinking that her body color would be more diluted looking if she was really a dun, that being said her sire is one of those more bayish looking duns.
EDIT: here is a picture of him, I have seen him in person he is dun, he is hollywood dun it/color me smart bred. The owner sent me a this pic last year to post on allbreed, now I can't remember his name for the life of me :-? .

I don't see dun in the foal
I don't see dun in the foal to be honest.
I agree with Peppermint. If the sire is brown based dun it would make more sense for his color.
I would need to see closer images of his dun factor because he does really look like that sooty arab with the faux dun factor color-wise. http://www.whitehorseproductions.com/im…
Yeah I wish I had some for
Yeah I wish I had some for you to see, but when I went to look at him he has a wide defined dorsal stripe and shoulder bars were way darker than in the picture and leg bars. I'm wondering if he was darker bay base like Color me smart if that would make the difference. He did look more diluted in person as well in his summer coat, but he was like the Hot Scotch man color of bay dun. He doesn't look all the way shed out in this picture, and I know that Annie is way darker in the winter, she doesn't really look dun at first glance with her winter coat... I do agree that the filly is more than likely bay though, those were my first thoughts when I saw her but because of the stallions color I wanted your opinions.
