LoL, it doesn't seem fast to

LoL, it doesn't seem fast to me when I have so much I want to cover.

I realized when I was adding photos to the site how much more I enjoy working with cat photos than dog photos. I love dogs but for some reason I don't have as much fun writing about and looking at photos of them as cats and horses.

Not really sure the extension

Not really sure the extension mutation is basic cat colour genetics, an interesting rarity maybe but I wouldn't put it in basics. It has no impact on other colours like extension in horses. Its not really something someone looking to get the basics needs to know about. JMO.

I hadn't really thought about

I hadn't really thought about it much to be honest. Whenever I start with a new species I start with Extension first. When I started researching cats, coming from other species that had extension mutations, it was very confusing to me to have nothing stated about extension in any of the articles I found. Plus, it follows the pattern set in the other "basic articles".

Some species just don't seem

Some species just don't seem to mutate on extension much, rats are the same, they have very little in the way of extension colours, just a very few suspected melanistic agouti that might be.
It might confuse people who do want the basics?
