This page is out of date as far as the genetics aspect but it does have an interesting couple of breedings pictured. http://www.siriusdog.com/riddle-of-whit…
If the gene is recessive (the current thought on the matter) and linked to e then the "black and silver" and "silver sable" coat colors are not related which to me seems unlikely since they seem to occur more often when white is bred into regular color lines. If however, the gene is recessive and the cause of "black and silver" the second litter of pups should not be possible. The question remains where are the solid red pups?

Would Liver be considered "red"?
Oh thanks for the link to
Oh thanks for the link to that site I can't been there before.
No, the red I'm looking for is ee recessive red. Liver is brown or bb.
The problem is that all ee's in the German Shepard breed are white or very light cream. There does not seem to be any regular ee reds like are seen in other breeds.
Are these just the white
Are these just the white German Shepherds or something different? I found this. http://homepage.usask.ca/~schmutz/white… I don't know if the dog pictured was confirmed ee, but from what I've read they seem to be. That dog you posted looks like she is within the variation of the white GSD coloration. Don't know if this is what you were asking for or not.
Random Gaming fact: A game called Haunting Ground actually has a white shepherd as your companion animal who fights off evil stalkers for you. His name is Hewie. :P
