I think he looks splash or sabino on these pictures because he is shedding his winter fur right now.
He is born and bred in northern europe and spalsh/sabino is rather rare in northern european warmblooded horses.
In Denmark (where I live) I've never seen a horse with an odd-colour mark as clear as it is on my horse and I tried googling it and all the brown pinto horses I could find were solid in the brown coloring.
Unless you are in Siberia
Unless you are in Siberia Splash and Sabino are not rare!
They are the patterns responsible for all "normal" white markings,so if you have a horse with these markings you have a Splash or Sabino.
These patterns are found in Shetlands right through to TBs and are not, to my knowledge, rare in Europe- they certainly are not in England, which is where I am!
I'd say there is a good
I'd say there is a good chance he is Brown. Also, even though he is obviously Tobiano base he also, obviously, has another pattern, guess would be Splash, although it could be Sabino.
Those marks that look like "bleach" marks are seen a lot, or seem to be, maybe we just get a lot showing up here......
