Re: Palomino???
Well I think he's like a little version of my boy (well colourwise hehe). Pale Palomino, or sometimes called an Isabella Palomino. Saxon carries one copy of the silver gene but being red based, doesn't express it.

Saxon's sire is a perlino and his dam, I was told a silver bay. Upon viewing her in person and looking at her pics I have of her, I think she is a silver black. Unfortunately she was sold on, so she was never tested.
Re: Palomino???
Your colt is definitely an Isabella palomino...got one myself. It is not uncommon for an Isabella to be mistaken for other colors, but as there is no doubt that the dam is pali and a question that dad may, in fact, carry cream also, who knows. I can say without a doubt that he is NOT a cremello or perlino as his skin and eyes are dark (not pink/blue as with a DD cream).
I am also so very familar with that :-\ :-S ~X( feeling....my mare (her dam) is so dark a sooty chestnut that she is mistaken for bay by nearly everyone who sees her (even when standing next to a true dark bay) so I was hoping for a dark golden pali like I got from my sorrel mare the year before (it didn't happen). I am anxiously awaiting this years foals from these two mares and my cremello stallion...fingers crossed.... :YMPRAY:
The foal is Palomino (nice foal!) but I am still doubtful of the mare.
The sire of the foal looks Sooty Buckskin- what is the mares parentage?
I never did work out exactly what Classy Colours colour was- so that may be the problem here! ymwhisle
I don't know the mares parentage colours. Sire: Komokos Sugar Bugarman Dam: Littlest Angels GGs Crystal bleu
She produced a palomino colt the year before when bred to la vista brilliant remark, a sorrel overo stallion. Which is why I assumed she carried cream... I REALLY should test her! :BH

if thats the case then she must be a pally as remark is red and white and he could not produce a dilute foal

I attached pics of Spice (previous foal) and the sire - same dam as above.
Re: Palomino???
definately looks pally to me , he is not grey- a grey horse must have a grey parent to be grey
