Re: Who's expecting foals in 2011?
Yea, I've heard the same thing, but this guy rode his zebras and even let his grandkids ride them in parades and never had a problem. I think it is like a lot of different animals, it depends on how long they have been "domesticated", how they have been raised and treated, coupled with extensive training. I can say that the gentlest pet I ever owned was a 10 generation domesticated wolf - she had virtually no wild tendencies or traits. Shoot, she didn't even do the turn 3-times before laying down that every other dog I have even known does (Abby has to do it several times before she will lay down  ). We could lay a piece of raw meat on the table and had no fear of her even trying to get it, but my lilac-point Siamese sure took advantage of every opportunity... :hammer .

Have you tested him, he looks like a Red Dun to me, no cream. This is Rabbit, Red Dun, no Cream, proven.....

Your incredibly smart stallion looks like a Red Dun Frame plus......hmm, Splash??
The first mare is a very good example of how Tobi tries to limit the white forward of the shoulder. In her case there is also Splash present, so she has a little star, which is cute!
The QH mares are not solid, they have white on the legs, which is is usually Splash or Sabino, but I would really test the mare with only one white leg for Frame, very very quickly !!
I am not sure what I have
I am not sure what I have coming this year!
I seem to have two foals due by Carlos, and two foal possible by Rabbit- he is 32 this year, but he was keen and happy to try, so I let him, he had one foal last year so he still has it in him!
I am aiming to breed two mares to my friends Fewspot- I have a foal due by him this year, and I shall put a couple to DC (Blanket Spot) and a couple to Carlos (Silver Bay Pinto) and yes a couple back to the old man!
I have a Silver Bay colt I would have liked to use but I have to sort out the animals I need to sell before I go mad breeding.
My bay frame mare is in foal
My bay frame mare is in foal to my black tobiano/sabino stud, she is due literally any second. This will probably be my last breeding season out of my stallion. He'll probably be gelded in the next month now that I have the horses that I want to keep and have sold most of the broodmares.
Where is ACC and Lacey? I am
Where is ACC and Lacey? I am watching her right now on mare stare and they just braided her tail...she is looking pretty hang dog...

Re: Who's expecting foals in 2011?
Pinto Zorses are cute, but I've heard so many bad things about Zebras. I met another Zebra breeder when I was at the vet with Jazz and he said that even though their stud was very gentle with his wife, they sold all of theirs. They, too, said you just can't get that wild out of them.
