Back teeth
I regularly check my horses teeth by feeling the back teeth for sharp edges...and while checking my 8yr old mare, I found that the flat surface of a couple of teeth on BOTH sides of her mouth (top teeth only) felt very uneven. Do the molars fall out too or is this something else??

Re: Back teeth

Sounds like there may be a step or wave. Can you feel any tooth further up in the gap? Basically the top teeth may not be growing out fast enough to wear down to lower teeth. You want to get her floated soon as the worse the step gets, the longer it takes to correct.
