rabicano -- will he get more?

my little guy has some Rabicano hairs coming in. He is a yearling by Cando (who has rabicano among many other color genes) i am only just seeing it now that he is shedding and he only has maybe 6 hairs that are white at the base of his tail...will he get more? will he???? WILL HE?????? i'm so excited because this guy is solid black and would look AMAZING with full out rabicano :) i'm so excited.

:sad

sabino isn't as much fun! is it normal to have sabino roaning without other white markings? i think he just has 4 white hairs on his forehead. I was hoping he would develop a big old skunk tail and TONS of white on his sides and then i could keep him super black and he'd be like "KAPOW, check out my tail"

Sadly agree, probably sabino. Yes sabino can cause roaning without markings. I actually get that question alot surprisingly (it surprises me there are that many true solids out there).

If he's got that much at this age, look forward to more.

Thoroughbred! he is as smart as he is handsome! I can'te even believe how good his mind is for a yearling :) he puts a lot of horses in the barn to shame!

Your just saying that because I let you pay me in cookies and diet pepsi :rofl

Mom was riding Nellie and she was LOOKING for cross country jumps. She was so disappointed when she saw that there was none to jump.

Voodoo is doing wonderful. He is really putting a good name out there for himself and for Cando. Mom is thinking about breeding Nellie back to Cando, even if it does mean that she will be out of a riding mare again.

we might need to build some x-country jumps up there for Smelly....or maybe some here and Bev's gonna have to come visit with Nellie so she can jump them :)
