Sorry for your loss.
Re: Sad Day
I'm really sorry to hear that.
Re: Sad Day
I'm sorry, that is a real shame. :sad
Re: Sad Day
Oh how sad. :sad I am so sorry to hear that. Hugs to you and the mare.
Re: Sad Day
 I am very sorry for you and your mare's loss. It is hard to lose a foal an to lose two is double the heartache. I hope all goes well for your mare and that there are no complications. @};-
Re: Sad Day
I'm sorry for the loss of the two foals :( Thankfully the dam is okay.
(((Hugs)))
Re: Sad Day
thank you all.
the mare is doing fine, she seems to have handled it fairly well. Ours horses are all running out as a herd at the moment and that seems to be helping her.
Re: Sad Day
:( :( :(
Re: Sad Day
I am so sorry. :sad
Re: Sad Day
Yes, the herd supports them...I always find it is best to turn them straight back out at a time like this.
It's the utter waste of it all that gets you, isn't it??
Damn, still better luck next time, eh??
This is when we really realise we are not God!!!
Re: Sad Day
Thanks for caring guys.
Saxy, my mare is very good, was horsing to poor Rumba over the fence this morning, so moved her. She is rebooked to go back to the other stallion end of august/sept.

I'm so sorry...
Re: Sad Day
Bolana,
So sorry to hear. You must be devastated. Hopefully all will be well for next season.

Re: Sad Day
thanks guys, been having some fun riding her.
She will be AI'd next week.
Re: Sad Day
If we could only grieve and move to the future (or merely the present) as they do! I am glad she is ok, and that you have had some good re-bonding with her yourself. Keep trusting your personal experience with her, you were right on. Remember the vet works for us, we are the executive.
Re: Sad Day
I'm sorry, thats really sad. I'm glad your mare is okay,it does sound like she just ran out of room for them. I know most twins don't last until birth time or have alot of growth issues, such as underdeveloped knees and whatnot if they do live.
