Re: Classic Grullo Champagne Tovero??

It amazes me how much dun and champagne feed off each other.
In what way ?
Nice horse BTW !!
They are MUCH paler than either one of them would have been individually. Unlike cream and dun.
But there is little or no difference to my friend's Champagne who is black with cream and champers. Any Champers with cream also is as pale as with Dun - as they are all diluters it makes sense - don't you think?

Cream + dun many times look like normal Creams except with dun factor, where Champagne + Dun is quite obviously more diluted.

HOLY BACK LEGS BATMAN! Ouchie. Somebody that can read that please tell me he's not breeding!?!
He is certainly a pretty color though. Too bad he's so sickle hocked, and his fronts are crooked :sad he would otherwise be pretty nice. Nice neck and head, decent shoulder, but I can't get past his legs....
But his color is so pretty. :( I wish more gorgeously colored horses were more correct.

I found this offspring (to answer your question about breeding)

note the dark tail and the light colored forelock. My screen does not display the ears tips well enough to tell if they are black or not.

Re: Classic Grullo Champagne Tovero??
Well calling it a classic grulla champagne is a bit redundant as the champagne is already listed as the word "classic" denotes the champagne.
And yes it exists. Its a horse who is black based with ressive agouti the champagne gene, and dun.
He tested Ee (black based) aa (recessive agouti) and CHch (champagne). He was nottested for dun, however he has VERY prominent dun factor so he is most likely a Classic Grulla or Classic Dun.
