Colt...I soooo wanted a filly but I guess I take it :laugh1 Not sure what color he is for sure. Dun or grullo. He doesn't appear to have cream eyes but I will test. This is my last foal for a good while. This mare is 22 now and I gelded the sire. Which was why I wanted a filly so bad but I'll keep the colt.

Congratulations Daylene on a beautiful foal...he is adorable. I am leaning towards bay dun, but like you said, it could go either way. I do know that there is NO doubt that he is DUN - look at how far that dorsal goes down through that tail - WOW. :love

He's nice! :bday Too bad you didn't get the filly, it's always dissapointing, but atleast you got a healthy, happy, dun foal! I'm guessing bay dun, if he is coming out that tan.

Congratulations! Foals and more foals!

See, I keep hearing that the dam determines the foal size but your foal comes halfway up his dam's side and mine (by a small pony) can walk right under his dam's belly without ducking!

I'd say bay dun as well, but I've seen some come out lookin like that or red dun that shed grullo so who knows. lol

I'd love to see pics of daddy!!

Thank everyone! Mom is a pally. I have some pics of his sire at http://www.dipperaranch.com/stallions.p…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; His sire is now gelded but I've been lazy and haven't updated my web site.

He is defiantly going to be roan. You can see the roan hairs under his top coat. His brother I wasn't sure about for about a month but with this colt it shows!

He's still not completely dry. Its been drizzling off and on and just started up again :BH.

He's going to be a real love. He's seems a bit bolder than his brother and has already discovered that scratching is very nice!
