Working on adding Modifiers need pictures

I've added a photo gallery for flaxen, pangare, and sooty so I need photos to fill them up. If you have photos I can use please email them to me at admin at equine-color.info When you send them to me please include how you want the photo credits to read and be aware that I may use some of them on the modifiers page. Thanks everyone!

Lacy will work for flaxen and I have some interesting photos of her light sooty as well. I don't think I have anything of pangare' that I've taken myself, but I have a friend with a VERY pangare' mare I may be able to talk her into letting you use.

Monsterpony will be able to provide lots of pangare. In fact, it's probably already in the dun album. Can the photos be duplicated into multiple albums?

I added some of flaxen and sooty. (That's what my ridiculously immature post above meant :P )

I am working on adding photos right now. I have enough photos of all those horses that I can probably find multiple pictures of the same horses so as to minimize duplications. I also have new photos for other albums.

i've got a haffy you can use for flaxen...she's the darker red body type and her mane/tail pop out pretty well :) I'll shoot you off an e mail now.

edit to add: I also used to own a gold champagne TWH with a flaxen mane/tail and a very coppery red chestnut belgian mare with a flaxen mane/tail(or what was left of it...docked...she also had a ton of white and a blue eye..lol)...sending those along too.

Sorry I messed up your name Monster I fixed it.

I appreciate everyone who added photos. They really help! Thanks for the photos HayFlinger I'll get them added this morning.

Does anyone remember who owned the very sooty palomino Morgan mare from the old board? I'd love to have a photo of her to add to the sooty album.

And who was it that had the photos of the pony's that were all bay pangare?

Thanks,

Daylene

Journey has the sooty palomino mare, but I'm not sure how to get in touch with her.

Wasn't it Heidi that had the pangare' photos? Could be wrong.

I should be taking photos this afternoon Daylene.

i was looking through some old photos from college, the boy scout camp I worked at and the ranch I used to work at in college and found a few more pics of flaxen belgians...2 more reddish chestnuts and a more lemon-y chestnut(with panagre and a cute facial marking)...lol
also found that I had my picture of lacing on a horses back already uploaded on here (again...this horse was dropped off to us in that condition....underweight and NO topline..ugh..10 weeks later he looked like a million bucks)

Oh another question does anyone have access to a photo of a seal that has actually been tested for (At)?

Also, Who owns this photo? [img]http://www.equine-color.info/gallery2/m…]

I'd like to use it as an example of gray on the modifiers page.

I know I'm rambling but I keep thinking of things....Who has some good gray progression pictures that they would be willing to let me add to the gray gallery?

accphotography Tue, 06/16/2009 - 11:34

Weather has prohibited me from getting the photos I wanted to get Daylene. I may either use stuff I already have or wait until this weekend when it's supposed to be gorgeous and get new stuff.

I know several people with tested 'At's. I will ask them.
Who has some good gray progression pictures that they would be willing to let me add to the gray gallery?
I have Teddy from age three (dark bay just starting to grey and dapple) through current -- age sixteen (nearly white with red fleabites) if you still need a progression.
I have the coolest flaxen gelding pics, but its on an old A drive disc  and new puters dont have A drives
No, but you can get an external A drive for little. ;)

Bodi Wed, 06/24/2009 - 13:36

Too small. Gonna try again. If this works I'll go from there. The most recent photo's here are at least a year or two old. Everything else is older. I recognize which ones are older because Bodi's mane and tail were lighter, or what time of year they are because his shade of his body is different. Or can go by how much his dapples show or not.
