White/cremello TB stallion

http://www.norsirefarms.com/zillionair.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Is he full TB or just allowed into the jockey club book... I know in Australia in the 80s The Australian Jockey club allowed non full TBs (horse in my avatar was AJC registered)..Is that the same with this horse? (nice by the way!)

He is full TB. As far as I know the American Jockey Club does not, and has never allowed anything but pure TB into their books. (At least knowingly)

There was a period in/around 1940ish that the JC was allowing Arabian blood as an infusion, but for how long, what criteria was needed, etc., I'm not sure.

Up until....sorry I am having a brain freeze but it was at least 1930....Arabs were registered in the GSB. BUT they were registered in their own section. However the offspring (ie AA) were eligible to race.
I know this as dear Lady Wentworth prevented the setting up of the AHS and opposed it when it happened as she maintained that Arabs and TBs were the same breed, therefore they should be registered as such and not in separate books.
Of course the manure hit the windmill when Rijm was "outed" as an AA......

Hoofpick, weren't non full tbs allowed to be registered with Jockey Club but they weren't allowed into the actual studbook? I think the Jockey Club then stopped registering the non full tbs at some stage?

Here, we have a "half bred" book, I am not absolutely certain how it works though, sorry.
Rijm was "outed" as an Anglo Arab and it brought the Arab Society in the US to it's knees. They managed to hush it up but the damage was down and the society split in two.
I think this was in the sixties?? Seventies??
