What pattern?

are appy spots a possibility with his bloodlines? I will admit that is the first thing I thought of when I seen his first pictures posted...lol..He's a cutie!

I am guessing that the fact they look appy is what is confusing Fizz :? it does me too, so otherwise I am guessing sabino for the roan patches and splash...he's adorable !

I agree. My first thought when I saw him on the other thread was, "is he Pintaloosa?" I'm assuming you don't consider that a possibility or you wouldn't be asking. If App is taken out of the possibilities, I would say it must be Sabino causing the effect. :sabsm

Definitely Tobi plus ???

Tobi & Sabino? Tobi for the roundness and Sabino for the mottled edges and speckling?

I agree with that, Tobi/Sabino.

At this stage I do not know if Appy is a possibility.
I have an Appy filly I have to DNA, if she is by Carlos, then yes, he is Pintaloosa.
I'll try and get some pictures of what is throwing me on Carlos, if I can!

Obviously the Appy filly being an "oops" by DC is the first thing that springs to mind, except that
1) DC was less than a year old when the filly was conceived
2) The fillies Dam is a good 37" high and DC was 281/2" at the time.
3) DC was in the stall, clipped out and going to shows at the time the filly was conceived, so I guess he sent her an e-mail?
But anything is possible!

Any possibility of frame? Could tobi and frame be trying to fight over whether white crosses the topline or not?

I agree with these two !

No Frame.
I am leaning towards Sabino/ Tobiano, both of which I know he has, but the DNA test on the filly will be interesting!
