What do you see?

The dam is a silver bay? I see the dark points peeking out. But the foal? I'm also confounded! How do you see it?

Well since the foal doesn't appear to have white eyelashes I'm going to say flaxen chestnut just to be different.

Silver bay too - I could be wrong, but it's the shade of the coat, combined with the cream points and hints of darker hair at the roots. A chestnut just..looks different..usually :-D

Well yes the dam looking silver bay helps! But when I first opened this topic I immediately thought silver bay anyway before I noticed the dam. I think it's just the shade, combined with the light points etc.. Not to say I can't be wrong either though LOL!!

Hmm... the full brother doesn't looks quite as silver bay to me for some reason. The bottom foal picture is him?

Danni Tue, 10/19/2010 - 21:34

Put me out of my misery, I'm looking at them too long and just confusing myself now!!

The bottom newborn photo is the full brother. The standing one is the OP.

Neither are tested sadly (though one is pending). However older photos give me a pretty good idea what we've got... I think. So I can't say for sure I know. I was just wondering what everyone else saw, especially of the two compared to each other.

Yes i am with Fizz on this one.....but then it makes it easier for me because it's also a mini and the silver bays just look like that in minis. :-D
