very pale palomino
Forums
A friend and I are trying to decide what color her mare is. My friend calls her a cremello because she is so light but she has dark eyes and skin. There is hardly any variation in her body color.
I think she must be an Isabella but was wondering if there is another possibility? Champagnes are out as she has dark skin. I am wondering if one copy of pearl (or possible two) could cause this very pale palomino looking mare?
She was an auction horse so no info is available on her sire or dam.

http://colorgenetics.info/equine/gallery/dilutions/cream-dilution/thunder A very pale palomino no dun involved. IMO while dun "can" lighten cream...it usually doesn't lighten so much as "dull" the color.
I too would like to see pictures.
I realized we didn't answer
I realized we didn't answer your question about pearl. Heterozygous pearl doesn't dilute unless cream is also present. If cream is present the horse looks like a pseudo double cream. If the horse has two copies of pearl they will resemble a champagne.
There are examples of pearl dilutions in the gallery http://colorgenetics.info/equine/gallery/dilutions/pearl
She probably has Dun- is that
She probably has Dun- is that a possibility?
