Something needed for the front page

We need something for the front page that will tell a bit more about the site than the updates I currently have there. What do you guys think about this... Welcome to Equine-color.info Equine-color.info is a site dedicated to understanding equine color genetics. Here you will find horse lovers from all disciplines who are interested in learning more and helping others learn about equine color and how it is inherited. Ok well after that I'm drawing a blank...any ideas?

I don't really know... but just keep it simple and short enough that people don't have to scroll to read it all.

I used the wayback machine to get this from the old site:
Horsemen and breeders alike have always favored certain horse and pony colors or patterns over others. With conformation and temperament being equal, a person is more likely to pay a bit more for a horse with a color he or she favors than for one who's color they're not fond of. This determines the market value of horses and ponies in individual areas and has caused a need to understand how horses produce the colors that people favor, as well as colors that aren't so popular. Scientific research into horse colors has made it possible for breeders to have the advantage of knowing what makes a person's favorite or not so favorite color.

On this site we will explore the different colors of horses and ponies. Colors are described in detail along with photo examples. Because a horse's true genetic color can sometimes be hidden by the physical appearance, this site also includes how these colors are made genetically, all in easy to understand language.

Please feel free to submit Photos of your own horses and ponies as examples of certain colors.

If you have a question about a horses color please post your question on our forum and we'll do our best to answer.

We offer a forum and chat room for your enjoyment and convenience. To find out how to submit photos please see the Contact page.

Note - Colors are not always the same from computer to computer, and may show up on your screen differently than the actual horse, photograph or original scan. Please keep this in mind when viewing this site.
Don't copy this word for word of course because it is Sarah's, but it may give you some ideas.
