Seal bay?

Well I was reading the other post about seal bays and was wondering about our oldest mare April. She seemed lighter than the seal bay pictures that I had seen but its very possible I'm just crazy and shes just a faded seal and not sooty or something else. She seems rather dappled in her summer coat but I wouldn't even know what that means color wise.

ACC, April has nearly completely shed now, and she has her golden tint back, and I know she has not had enough time to just be sun faded.

Mainly cream. Secondly *I'd* probably test her for At, regardless of the questionability of the test.

From what I can remember, she has mostly had chestnut foals. In fact the only one that wasn't chestnut was a buckskin, and the father was a buckskin.

I can ask my mom about getting her tested, I would do it but no job :( so no moneys.

Ah no worries. It's just curiosity. Her foals don't tell us anything except that she's Ee.

[color=#8000BF][b]Ok ACC I spent some AQHA money & here's what it says, but its not correct on some of the colors as the colors weren't corrected on some of them...I'll add current color to the ones I know.
*** forgot to add this doesn't include his '09 foals....2 grullos & 1 unknown, but possibly a grullo as dam is a grullo.

Doesn't look sun faded...YET, to me. But still looks brown to me and his coat is very shiny & slick.

Boy that's a big round pen!

He doesn't look faded yet, but he doesn't look black black either. He looks kinda chocolatey. Hmmm.

Yup it is better. I still think brown or smokey black if it's possible.
