Research
I am looking to do a bit of questionaire based research on the use of barefoot trimming to aleviate lameness issues including navicular, laminitis and tendon, muscle or bone injury. It is purely because I am curious and havent seen any similar research done except on a very small scale within one barn. Would any of you be interested in results, have a case study I could use, or have any advice? Any similar research you might know of would be really useful as well.

Re: Research

I dunno if this is along the lines of what you're looking for, but it shows lots of rehab cases: http://www.hoofrehab.com/rehabilitations1.htm and http://www.hoofrehab.com/AuburnUvetschool.htm

Thanks Rusti, thats great.

This should be a link to the survey as is, I know I left a lot of open answers which doesnt make collating the info any easier but I can categorise myself later if necessary, what do you think?

a fairly pointless little piece of cyberspace where I post random thoughts on just about anything, if you're bored any comments are welcome.

Re: Research

That all looks great, only thing I could think of that you might add is questions about the type of terrain the horse lived on before/after and how sound he was on different terrains before/during/after transition.
