Is my horse Silver Bay?

Ive noticed over the last 4 years my mare is changing colour and gradually getting darker through mane, tail and legs and also developing the odd white/grey hairs through body. Her lower legs appear to be getting a darker shade of mottled/dappled brown, beige and silver. [img]https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3479701430923&set=a.16378280652…] hope pics worked.

She could be silver bay. What breed is she? Do you know what color her parents are? Just from the description, not from the pictures, she sounded like she was greying.

Ah, yeah, if she's a Comtois that she probably is silver bay. I thought she looked like one, but I wasn't certain. She's pretty!

Thanks she is such a sweety. It's really frustrating that all over the internet this horse breed is describes as being chestnut but yet most Comtois that I've seen have been like this with the dark points on legs with silver and chocolate dappling/mottling on them. When I got her 4 years ago her mane and tail were quite a lot lighter but is gradually getting more dark with very dark grey/black at the roots then getting lighter towards the tips. Her mane used to be down to her shoulder but our pony over groomed her and chewed it off :((
