Color Locus

The Color Locus (commonly called "C" Locus) is the most complex color locus in rabbits. Depending on the mutation, it dilutes only red pigment all the way down to complete removal of pigment. Certain mutations at this gene are also be temperature sensitive. The order of dominance is C -> cchd -> cchl -> ch -> c.
