Free puppy!

My neighbors have a puppy that they need a home for. He's super adorable, but due to her health issues he's just too much for her to handle. So she'd like to find a new home for adorable rambunctious puppy so that she can get an older, more settled down dog. His name is Izzie, as in "What is he?" "Where is he?" "What is he into?" haha I took some photos of him playing in the ice, which can be seen here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2074589&id=1215900180&l=41e8ec08eb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; He's short but stocky, we don't figure he'll get much bigger. He's got a brown undercoat with wirey black hair on top, and he hasn't been a shedder so far. He acts like a heeler, so maybe he's got some cow dog in him somewhere! He's fearless and overall adorable. I'd take him if I could but I am already at my limit. He's crate trained and I don't think he's had any accidents lately, so I'd say he's like 90% housebroken, haha. Anyway, he's located in Ruston, LA, if you know anyone who wants a good pup!

Izzie has a distinct "terrier" look, but he also reminds me of a mini-schauzer so he is probably a cross. HOW old is he? That would be the determining factor in size: puppy weight/size at 3-months old, multiplied by either 3.5 or 4(and rarely 4.25, depending on breed, i.e. terrier, GSD, St. Bernard) = adult size.

I'm not sure exactly how old he is, I'll figure it out next time I see them outside haha. We think he's part schnauzer or something because of his face shape and wiry top coat.

I agree on the part schnauzer part, he looks it, but then again, there are doz. of terrier-types that look like that....so who knows. He just looks like a bundle of fun and full of loads of love and kisses. :love

Okay, that makes him 3 months, so figure he's be 4 times his current weight and probably 60-65% larger....still a very small dog (about beagle sized when grown)

He found a home, btw! They took him to the wild horse and burro thingy in Monroe and he found a good farm home!! He seems like he'd make a heck of a herding dog!
