Zach Blue

His stuff don't stink for 22, and he's EEaaRnRn http://www.bedonna.com/ZachBlue.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ....and he's 100% sound at 22....but are Grulla roans as pretty as blue roan and Grullas?

This is so strange because I just looked him up today when I was searching for homozygous roan examples for no real reason. I thought I recognized that name.

Nice bit of photoshopping!
He does not look that good either, Rabbit, at 31, knocks him for six, he looks now as he did at 25, and at 25 he was still winning overall show Championships!!
I don't like the horse, too long in the back, weird backside and I can't see what sort of a neck he has because the photo has been altered so badly.

So there!!! :-t

I did think he looked a bit long in the back but I attributed that to his age. I did wonder if she photo shopped the head a bit. The Hankcock horses don't have the best reputation for a pretty head, although they have a good reputation for great feet.
Shipped semen is great and all but this is the problem if you don't go to the facility you can't see the stallion in person or the conditions of the horses on the Ranch so you don't know what's really going on. The place we got Doc had a nice website with very well bred horses but he came do us in horrible condition.

Did any one else notice on her web site she offers colored foal guarantees foals out of colored mares by her sorrel stallions!?

rodeoratdogs Sat, 11/13/2010 - 11:09

No....lol I have to go back and look, that is a bit strange colored what sorrel?

rodeoratdogs Sat, 11/13/2010 - 14:17

This one here she guarantees color if you have mare of color and you have a solid sorrel she will give you 1/2 breeding the following year. He is actually a nice speed bred stallion.

I hate to say it but I agree with PPG. This woman has a major history (although a few people that have met her personally say she is sweet as they come).

That's ok I appriciate the feedback, rather that than a bad experience.

That second stallion has a funky way of standing with his back legs....

I love 30 miles east of her, I know peole who took their mares there to be bred that came back beat up by agressive stallions, I also had her walk her 2 yo daughter out in front of me and Cougar (on a mini mare) during the stallion parade at the Okla horse fair and refused to leave even though many stallions were itching to get to the pony, 1 really wanted to kill it. I have seen some of the brood mares she has sold that were skin and bones (stallions look good but the mares are only broodmares so they dont need the extra care like hay and stuff). And she always has to sell off 1/2 her herd for one reason or another (could be having over 100 broodmares and stallions is too much for her) but she replaces them with whatever she decides is the hot bloodlines to have. Just not very reputable around here.
