Website....WHOOHOO!!!

OK, I have, finally, been dragged, kicking and screaming (and whingeing an awful lot, dear God you should have heard me) into the 21st century!! I have a website, http://www.shadowplayminihorses.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Courtesy of my good friend Mo O'Sullivan, (so if you have a spare moment go and look at her site too, cos it's very pretty.... http://www.wolfscastle.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) Now, there may still be a couple of glitches in there, so I would be most grateful if you could let me know, and any constructive criticism would also be great.... some of the pictures need to be better, we know this, and there are additions that can be made as foals arrive......maybe I shall actually become a better photographer, now that I have somewhere to show off my photos, who knows?? Take a look, anyway, and tell me what you think!

Woo Hoo!!! :bounce It's about time. Although we are probably 4,000 miles apart, I feel I know you from our many conversations on the internet, but, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Lovely site. It will be bookmarked and checked often.

My goodness Bertie is cute isn't he ?? site looks good too.....

My only negative comment is why is EC not on the links page????? [-x

I'm so glad you finally got a website! I love it!

The only suggestion I would make is that you need to have a title added to the page so it doesn't just say "Untitled Document".

I noticed that, it did not do it the first attempt we made.....do you know how I remedy it (I say "I" but it's Mo who will have to plough through this, not me, I can't transfer my photos without a tussle!!)

It will be, Mo put those links up from her site, and then we can add anything we want.
I have been brain dead the last few days so most of her very good suggestions have just gone over my head....then she asks for input!
I am having trouble remembering my name :sign
So I shall have to write all this down and give it to her!!!

Well done on the website. Its about time you had a website to showcase all your gorgeous horses.
You will have to travel everywhere now with your camera to catch those magic moments :D .

I think you should have a winners and champions page too with all the horses you have bred over the yrs that have won and been champions in the show ring - give everyone a taste of what your breeding has achieved.

I enjoyed what you wrote about each horse - it was very enjoyable and also with humour. Love Jingles and Toby but I think OH would have a small coronary

Love the new site! The Queen Boudica info was great to know since I'm a history buff. You have beautiful horses!

I might suggest... see if you can center your pages. On the wide monitors, the page elements are to the left.

Business sites are 'professionally' always anchored to the left. BUT I have to say I prefer center myself.

That's fantastic, I love your minis!! I especially love Carlos ever since you showed him on one of the minimal tobiano topics!! It's a nice easy to look at and easy to navigate website, welcome to the 21st century!!!
Aah, go one, you know you want to.....what's a wee coronary between friends???
  Oh I KNOW I want to but must resist for the sake of my OH health - he just had knee surgery last week so have to be sympathetic for a while especially as he is still in the UAE.

rabbitsfizz Mon, 03/15/2010 - 11:53

Daylene, can you explain how to get the name of the site to come up on the address bar, instead of Untitled?

It is centred on our screens, and Mo has spent forever trying to keep it that way, so I think I shall save that one for when she is very mellow!!!(as opposed from hanging from the curtains by her teeth!) :booty

Love it! Very interesting about the battle site! Our pastures were used for the Louisiana Manuvers, which were just mock battles to decide whether or not the US should get tanks, but it's still wild to think that there were tanks driving across my cow pasture.

rabbitsfizz Thu, 03/18/2010 - 06:00

Daylene, thank you so much, we will get right on that........

well, Mo will, anyway, I will not go anywhere near it!!!!

I am very proud of the fact that I have watched every single episode, from day one of the classic series, with the exception of this years "Christmas Specials" as I loathe RTD with a loathing deep and true..(.is it wrong to hate a person you have never met, I wonder?) I shall start watching again now that Supermoff has taken over, but I just did not have the heart to watch all that doom and gloom and to watch the horrid man destroy yet another decent programme.
I stuck it out till the last two episodes, so I think I did rather well.
(Before you ask, no, I did not particularly like QAF, either the British or US versions!) :booty

I'm always sad when there is a new Doctor. This new companion is nice to look at though.
