We had a first ride, too!

[color=#4000FF]I put a bridle on Jazz for the first time!!! (*) I actually put 3 bridles on her, I was amazed she stood for it. First I put Mist's english bridle and D-ring snaffle (with copper toys) on her, but try as I might, I couldn't keep it from clanking in her mouth...it was too big and there were no more holes to punch. Next I tried Nike's english bridle, with giant loose ring hollow mouth snaffle, but there were too many straps on it. There's a flash noseband on it, and that was too much to deal with for her. So then Dad said that I should just use western on her, and I got out Nike's plain jane one ear headstall with a full cheek snaffle on it. She actually put up with me putting it on, but that time, understandably, she put her head in the air when I put my thumb in her mouth. She was already saddled up, so I got on her. Dad held her head for me, and I climbed up like it was no big deal at all! I mean, literally, I just swung myself on like I was getting on Nike (only taller, lol!) She was fine. I worked on flexing, and after she touched both of my toes a couple of times, we were off. Dad lead her around at first, because I wasn't sure I had brakes, lol. But she did fine. I was like "it's ok to plow rein, right???" because I've never ridden a baby in a bridle before. So yeah, she did awesome! I have videos!! Also, her 3rd birthday is on the 24th of this month!

:X The settings aren't where I thought they would be so I'll have to play with it a bit more to see if I can't remove the duplicate entry. You can use ":X" capital x to get the same smilie

Daylene

Edit: that was alot easier then I thought I just had to look in the control panel for the forum instead of a code file  That smilie can now be access only through ":X"
