Re: Remember Girls night out????
Thanks guys! :D I am a little smitten. It is nice to be able to laugh with someone or talk for hours about anything and everything. I didnt post anything these last several weeks because I wasnt so sure i wanted to get involved. He has been really funny, not pushy, and it is really cute, (the nights I go out w my GF's) he always calls to check on me... and if we arent on the phone we are chatting on the PC LOL!
Just wouldnt have thought he really would have been my type but guess you never know till you get to know someone! ;)
Re: Remember Girls night out????
Well congratulations on finding someone to help you get past the jerk of a soon-to-be ex :flower ...I am a firm believer in it "having fun" does more to help you get over someone than all the therapist in the country... :laugh1
Okay, he passed the dog test - BUT, has he passed the horse test? How do the kids feel about his presence (although I don't believe in letting kids dictate who their parents are friends with), that is another important test.

LOL Critter! My only child just turned 21 Monday and is off at college! ;) He, on the other hand has 2 little boys 7 and 10... I am MOOOVVVIING slowly and havent accepted his invite to meet them yet. ;) he has been divorced for 3 yrs. I think he really understands due to same situation with his ex. He dosent push me. I would probably run away w my tail between my legs! Not met the horses yet either, I m sure he will soon. Right now were at the really having fun stage. :D

Re: Remember Girls night out????
How sweet Jodi...you deserve a good time with virtually NO strings. :toast Don't worry about meeting the kids - as long as they understand that you are daddy's "friend" :^o and not trying to be their "mom". :bounce Also, don't panic about the future until his overnight bag turns into a suitcase - :laugh1
Re: Remember Girls night out????
LOL Sara. I had just gotten home, not got him hehehehe (my typing error) :laugh1 :laugh1 :laugh1
He is just so laid back and sweet. Love his house, love that he cleans :laugh1 Love that he told me he missed me this weekend. Love that he made me some great CD's. WOW I feel giddy :laugh1 :laugh1 :laugh1
Re: Remember Girls night out????
:laugh1 Whoa girl, you DO sound like a school girl on her first crush. I suggest you walk (or maybe jog) and not gallop - as we all know a nice hard gallop is FUN, EXCITING and HOT, but it tires fast and then it is all downhill until all the heat (read passion) is GONE. :sad So slow down and enjoy the ride for as long as you can (and try to get those emotions under control before you start giggling and babbling like teenager :ymdaydream: ;;) ) - It is wonderful to be in a new relationship, but we don't want you going off the deep end (you might drown and then what would we do without you :love ) :laugh1
Re: Remember Girls night out????
LOL Critter... you have such a way with words. :laugh1 Im just having fun!!!! Not IN LOVE bahahahaha... if it ended I'd be fine, (alittle bumed) but fine. I would def miss the perks but then Im sure there would be another fish in the pond.... :rofl :rofl :rofl Kinda liking the giggle stage though ;)
Re: Remember Girls night out????

A man who loves to talk/listen a lot is rare. :o I know of one, but he never sh*ts up and gets on my nerves. (eventually) He is indeed straight.
But if he compliments your shoes, get worried. The only men I ever met that complimented my shoes were gay.
:rofl
Re: Remember Girls night out????
I'm lucky my hubby listens and compliments but not my shoes !!!.....sometimes I think we don't always fancy the good ones and want the bad ones that make our hearts flutter - but that's no good when you are in your 80s and the only thing left you have is conversation (with a lot of shouting because you are deaf !!).... :rofl

When grandma (born 1910) got married she got a quick sex education from her mother. She was told about birds and bees and worriedly asked how long a man could............
In answer, her mother picked up a broom and put it flat on the floor.
"See honey. As long as he can step over this, he can....."
So maybe, Lipi, there might never be a day when converstation is all that's left. :?
Re: Remember Girls night out????
Oh that's great news Jodi :D Enjoy taking it slow. I hope this guy turns out to be a keeper, but if not someone who leaves you with some fond memories :love
