Rabicano and Dominate White

I realized the other day that I don't have Rabicano and Dominate White listed as white patterns on the White Pattern pages. So I need pictures of both. Dominate white is similar to sabino as far as phenotype correct? It inherits as a dominate trait and is thought to be embryonic lethal? How many dominate white mutations have been identified altogether and what breeds has it been found in? I gladly provide credit and website links for anyone who wants to contribute pictures and/or written information. Thanks, Daylene

Yes.

So far in the following:
Franches-Montagnes
Thoroughbred
Arabian
Camarillo White
Icelandic
Holstein
Quarter Horse
South German Draft

You can use any of these photos of Patchen Prince. He is part of the W2 family. I will have some photos of the W7 family later this year as well.

Well crud, my site appears to be down... again. I'll post the link later when it comes back up.

Ooh! I just got a some pictures of a rabicano last Saturday. The problem is the mare is a light chestnut so I'm going to have to mess with the photo settings to get the hairs to really show.

Daylene: Send a PM to TrueColoursFarm (Donna). I'm sure she'd be happy to let you use a photo of one of her Puchilingui descendants (family 5 I think they are).
