OK, I made a poll, but it's very odd. It's like, you have to click this weird thing off to the left,and then it makes something thats not a post... how do you even see it without the link?

The poll you created is a site wide poll. If you go to the equine home page you can see it there.

I had missed a permissions setting before but You should be able to add a poll to the forum now. There is bug in it though. If you don't input a subject or text when you click submit it takes you to a new page where you can enter the information. After you hit submit again however, it gives you a white page filled with some code even though the poll is created on the forum. I'm not going to look into this atm but wanted to let you know. It can be avoided by just entering a subject and text for each poll you create.
