I knew that things had gotten slow, but I must have missed that Cathy was quitting... I heard somewhere that she was going to be writing a column in Horse Illustrated or something like that... Have any of you heard what happened?

She posted a while ago that she was putting the blog up for sale. It was for some ridiculous amount! Don't know if it ended up going for that or if she just handed the reins over...

I did read her article in one of the HI magazines. I think it was a month or two ago?

My husband offered to buy her site, but she refused his offer and it went to auction. It never made the reserve. I guess she already had the other writer in the works at that time, too. I sort of lost interest after that. I will verify that she thinks it's worth WAAAAY more than it is (obviously, by the auction results.)

I hope she doesn't use her same attitude in HI as she does on her forum.

Sorry but some of her posts have left quite a bitter taste in my mouth, and have caused me to pass her off as another blogger who thinks they know it all. Specially when she discusses breeds she clearly knows nothing about.
