Re: Inspired by Krickette!
It's new (the barn). And no matter how many times I've tried to figure it out? There is no way he makes money. Lesser quality barns with decent but less experienced trainers go for more, but he has a lot of school teachers and just normal people he can't put out no matter how many times I've tried to imagine a little more $ for a decent additional trainer. I used to work for him. He's not the one to ruin your horse to win, he keeps everyone safe (including himself as best he can), takes good care of the horses, and is an honest man.
Re: Inspired by Krickette!
he looks great, Ive also been riding my girl and ground driving the 2 yr old(bukskin) under saddle and bridle..im so thrilled at how they are doing , my 3 yr old the bay(Roxy) is a little bit of a drama queen, will have tantrums ocassionaly, so far the bucky(Ferg) is not phased by a single thing and does everything asked, its bizarre.. she was born to ride.

They look scruffy still but shedding quick now, I didnt blanket much this winter and they got super wolly mamoth immations.. I will come up with some pics soon.
Re: Inspired by Krickette!
If all continues going well? Yes. I'm going to have him start going to shows with Mark for the ride and the experience - walk around the grounds, etc not to show yet - & see how that goes.
Thanks you all!
In case you miss the question on the other thread, who is that horse in your avatar Maigray?
Re: Inspired by Krickette!
I asked too. There is a martingale with reins attached to the girth coming up through the snaffle and to the hands and then there are another set of reins just on the snaffle. When I asked he said it was to keep him from coming up if he tried since he is young yet. All this came off when I rode him. I was only testing breaks, turning, and getting my fix.
Re: Inspired by Krickette!
:o That looks like an expensive barn in the background. Suprised to see Jeans and a western saddle in that context. Even on that arab looking horse of yours. :love You must be so proud!
I have messed up a friends photo's due to the same misconception once, thinking the soundeffects meant that picture was taken, not knowing it was just 'in focus'.
