happy camper doesn't begin to cover it

Today was my 24th birthday! My boyfriend drove up to visit me Thursday night and we didn't do much that night, just hung out and watched TV a bit, he didn't get in till nearly eleven. Then this morning I went outside to find my house and car were decorated with balloons and happy birthday banners that Sarah had managed to sneak up. She's such an awesome friend, and her kid is beyond adorable and makes me all baby crazy haha. I'm really going to miss them. Anyway after finding my decorations Glenn and I went to hot rod's, our favorite BBQ joint, and then ran errands. He broke no shave November for me and got a cute new haircut. I went and got my eyebrows done and then we went home to relax. He read inheritance while I read brisingr, it was pretty sweet. Oh! And then I got presents! A 50mm fixed focal length f1.8 lens, a Hood and filter, and this funky stabilization rig for video cameras! I'm so excited! !! Then we met Sarah and her brood for the art crawl downtown. Glenn bought me a sweet hat and headband and we looked at lots of awesome art and got a demonstration on birch biting! And if course had lots of wine and cheese haha! And there were cookies for the little one ha. Then Sarah and her fiancée and their super cute toddlerwalked home and Glenn and I went to what is probably the nicest restaurant in town, 102 bistro. The food was fantastic, we had a lot of fun, and then we came home and relaxed and talked for a long time about the future. tomorrow is my big day! I will finally graduate! Bachelor's in biomedical engineering! Woo! I'll be the first grandkids to graduate college, and will be the first engineer in the family since grandad, who was VP of TRW if that means anything to y'all. Anyway all my family will be there and I'm so nervous and excited and I'm just gonna try not to cry. I bought waterproof mascara and eyeliner today just in case though! Sorry if this makes no sense. I'm too excited to sleep so I took ambien. >.<

That's a lot of good all at once! (Belated) congrats! Biomedical engineering sounds tough, but it also sounds like one of those "in demand" majors. I bet your family is super proud. :)

Thanks! It was tough, took five years plus an extra quarter, but I'm hoping it will be worth it. I've finally found the niche that I want to be in so I'm hoping I can find the perfect job! But as of right now, I'll take what I can get haha!
