Forum seems to be working

I like the new colors, the link you left didn't work tho? and I didn't write I like the new colors,the twice as it appears??

Ok I see now that some of that got in the subject box, but when I try to edit, It won't let me scroll down far enough to hit the save button??

Its very slow and difficult to use for me, really hard work to navigate around and looks very old fashioned :/ I guess I'll have to get used to it!

The scroll down to see the submit is an IE problem. I see if I can't fix it tomarrow.

Dogrose I'm not quite done with it yet some things are still being "beautified".

I just wanted to add that this forum is very modular its not a one stop install like the old one was. I have to enable a piece at a time and make sure that everything works before I can go onto the next. I try to test as much as I can on my home PC but I still have to enable them one at a time on the "live site" to be on the safe side.

I may have to disable the "round corners" for IE and find yet another solution. I tried using it just a min ago and it does take forever to load the corners.

Well I know you are like super smart and you will figure it all out and I would just like to say I appriciate that, don't mean to complain at all just want to let you know issues even though it just might be a personal problem (of my own) lol;P

I also need to add an "open links in new window" function. If you have any thing you would like changed or added go ahead and post it to this thread. I'll treat it like a to do list.

Ok, I'm really sorry, but don't like it at all. I don't like the new navigation buttons. I don't like any of the symbols used. I'm struggling to find something I like about it other than the color scheme, and even that is just ok. I'm really sorry as I know it was probably a lot of work for you to do, but I really don't like it, enough so that I'm finding that I don't even want to browse the forums because of it.

I hate to say it, I really do, but I agree with RMT.

It's also not changing the icons for new posts/forums either.

Yah I was thinking about it last night and had already decided I was going to change things. I should have spent the time finding a good theme instead of making one. Oh well I learned a lot. So here's what well do. We're going to play find the drupal theme. It has to be free. Post links to those you like here. I'll be working on things today.

Avatars should be working.  If yours is missing let me know I'll see if I can't "find" it.  

Oh and the "report to Mollom" link is a spam report feature.  Mollom is the spam prevention sevice I have installed.

how important is it to have the mark forum read links at the top of the page?  10 is a must have 1 is I never use them.

The mark all read thing is nice for me, especially since all the topics are "new" now. I like to do a quick glance to see if there's anything new I haven't seen. So I'd say a total 10 right now.

8 for me. I use it alot.

I changed stuff to default themes  because it seemed to run better on my test pc.  I know its ugly but let me know if it loads faster.  

Definitely loading faster! I actually like this appearance-wise - very refreshing!

My avatar is working. Something I noticed on this thread and don't like, is how Third Peppermints Aatar is bigger than the side bar so it sticks over. Is that because of the theme, or because of the size? -

It just seems so....blue. At least its loading faster.

It's really hard to use on my netbook... Not sure how it will look on my phone, I haven't gotten a chance to check yet. 

I'm sure it will be fine once I'm home using my mega monitor haha. 

I dunno, it's certainly different. I was quite attatched to the old version just because it's so simmilar to every other forum I've been on. But I'm sure with time I'll get used to this....

OK, honestly, it's all whatever. I can deal with it all and eventually I'll forget how it was before.

But the saddest part of this, is I have to type the url now! 

I used to just type fo and hit enter. (fa brought me to facebook haha)

So sad!! I have to type out the whole address to get here now. 

Also, I dont know if this is just my computer or what, but the spell check built into my browser doesn't work in the quick reply box. Does anyone have firefox up running so they can check there? I only have chrome on this netbook.

Also my signature's bum is hangin out!

I will work on the things that "hang out" after we settle on a theme otherwise I'd just end up doing it twice.
