Due to decreasing use over the years, I have decided to disable the forum functionality of the site.

Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

Is anyone a member over there? I was having a really good discussion on red German Shepherds and all of a sudden I find myself banned. No reason was given either. You guys know I'm never disrespectful of anyone so I'm wondering what the heck is going on?

Well, it looks like they deleted the thread I was having a discussion on also. That really upsets me.

Wow. That's rather harsh. It's not like you were stealing their members or anything since you were actively participating on their forum.

Yeh, I would have removed it if they had just given me a warning. I completely missed the forum rules. They had a huge list of stickied threads and it was the very last one. I don't recall ever being on a forum that didn't allow signature links(not that I'm active on a bunch of forums). It just never occurred to me.

The person I was talking with was kind enough to register here so that we could finish our conversation. I would be great if a few of you could pop over to the dog forum and say hi. It gets kinda lonely on the dog forum and I'm not sure how into horses they are :grin:

That's silly. I could possible see if it was obnoxious, but that's (a little) crazy. Can people not link to kennels if they have one?

Nope, but hey I should have read the rules. Now that I am to continue the conversation I'm not upset about it. My 12 yr old was like "Mom, I ALWAYS read the rules." %-( ymwhisle
