Due to decreasing use over the years, I have decided to disable the forum functionality of the site.

Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

The deal with the theme

My internet has been almost useless the past couple of days so I haven't been able to do much. I did get a new text editor installed (by using my phone) that allows you to use your browsers spell check and also use paragraphs and automatically turns urls into links. I also changed the theme to the one we had used before but changed the colors to match the forum (it was a preset choice). I looked into that every nice theme that Third Peppermint had suggested but unfortunately it is for a new install and doesn't say anything about being used for an existing site like ours. I think I may just stay with this theme but do colors more like I had with the disastrous theme I had made. I really liked those colors. The todo list: 1) colors on the theme 2) smilies 3) I'm probably going to change the subscription service as I'm not happy this one. If anyone finds a nice drupal theme they like I'm still open to suggestions.

Oh I forgot to ask are you guys still getting the captcha when you post? I set it to allow registered users to bypass the protection and have contacted mollom support to find out why its not working like it should.

no I most definitely do not like having to put in a subject line in a reply box :-(

I do not like the first line coming up as a header- it is pointless as far as I can see.
I also do not like not being able to bypass all the "old" comments and go straight to the first unread one.
This format is a lot easier though.....

You can. If you click the place I high circled in purple it will take you to the newest posts. I personally hate that system and wish we had the old one back, but oh well.

Replying without the subject is now possible all the time. I couldn't figure out what you guys where talking about as It had never required me to put in subject. Then I tried to use the quote button (I usually just type the tags) and then boom it required a subject. So, I dug around and found the setting and disabled it. You can now post without a subject even if you use the quote button. Sorry about that.
