We had a fun day yesterday, we decided last minute to take the boat over with family friends to Seattle to go to the Seattle Mariners game. It's way cheaper to park a boat in Seattle than a car...lol! I took pictures of horses I didn't really expect to see, Some Iron horses by a local Art Museum, and a very sweet Percheron. Also some pics of the city from the water and our parking spot, and some at Safeco field including Ichiro Suzuki. Our Destination.. Aren't those neat? I like how they did their hoofs. They were out front of the Gallery "Art with a Heart Art Gallery.
That was the first time we actually took the boat to Seattle and parked. Our friend knew of the Bell Harbor Marina where we parked, we were shocked how much cheaper it was to park the boat than the car. That and the fact that it is way faster, only about 15 minutes to the boat launch in Manchester and 15 minutes to cross. To drive around is 50 minutes and to take the ferry is actually 20 minutes to the ferry and 1 hr crossing. We plan to take the boat more often, weather permitting :D

Oh yeah the Iron horses do kind of look like those puppets, I hadn't thought of that. I thought it was very cool I couldn't walk 4 city blocks in the city of Seattle with out running into that many horses. :)

Lovely pics and love the Iron Horses they are lovely.

I was also admiring the harness the "real" horse was wearing. Nice boy too
