Hmmmmm. Sadly I don't seem to be much help today. I can't think of anything to entertain you. I'm working on photos for an art show this weekend. Maybe get a new game to play?

You can have some of my stuff to do. I have a bunch! You can try and put soft paws on my cat and try to shave her. I recommend thick leather gloves. After that you can wean some mice and try and sort some into breeding pairs. Also, if anyone comes by with a sick mouse you can check it out. I think there's one with some teeth that need trimmed. You can also go lead a horse around in a circle in 100 degree weather for an hour. You might have to run a little though. I'd give you more to take your mind off of boredom except... I'm out of time. :(

Aww, I wish I had rodents to play with, I miss my rats so much! They were such fun. Every time I see some I get all wistful, but my cats and dogs didnt play nice with them. Brooks is an excellent rodent hunter and would just about nock the cage over. And my poor rats had no fear, they'd reach out and grab his nose and just make things worse.

And I've been wanting to get soft paws, actually, do you like them? I keep my cats' nails trimmed but I haven't ever used those.

I like soft paws, but mostly because my cat is incredibly indifferent once they're on. That and it makes her have pretty pink toes. Once you get the technique down, it's easy to use. She has attention issues where she'll start clawing things while staring at us and crying. Whenever she doesn't want attention or wants a real scratch/stretch she uses her scratching post. Ugh, cats. She's lucky she's so precious.

If you want any more rats I can hook you up with some retired research animals. Someone had some cute black hooded boys the other day.
