Boarding question

Ok, got another question. I think I may have found my project horse a yearling Champagne TWH filly. Do any of you guys do boarding? Not looking for anything fancy but just want her allowed to be a horse so turned out would be fine. I need it to be relatively cheap so hubby does not say 'no'....but she would still have what she needs. Would like to know costs of boarding and whether any of you are near a International quarantine and export centre. This filly is in Claremore, OK. My USA geography is awful BTW!!!! Ay ideas are very welcome but if I am going to buy her I would like to buy soon but probably not export until the early Spring. Anyone need an extra paid for horse? pretty please. :D :flower

Sorry dear, but I am on the other side of the country - literally. Although, there are a lot of members down/over that way - :love .

Claremore is an hour from me, I might be able to ask around.
I boarded my geldings about a town over, in Inola, really nice lady but I think she may not have room. I'm not really sure if I could, would have to ask the family.

Thanks for that am not sure now - honestly how on earth are you supposed to tell a good TWH when thier confo is SO different to what I am used to ????

If anyone has knowledge of TWH and can give me some help finding a champagne one preferably a weanling/yearling filly or maybe a mare - that would be great. ;)

I've sent an email to someone I know who lives in Oklahoma to see if he knows anyone over that way who knows something about TWHs. I'll let you know what he says.

I also emailed someone about a gorgeous mare in Gray, Kentucky !!!!!!!!! As I said they do seem very cheap but then I know how much the horse market has taken a real bashing for you guys, more so then here I think. I am also waiting to hear back from some international horse transporters. If I do this I will be putting Mateo my Lipizzaner up for sale by Private Treaty - to try and make sure if he is sold on they have to let me know first.....I can't justify keeping him really. :sad

I have also joined another forum Daylene suggested so will ask thier opinions on TWH too but this is something I would dearly love to do.

Thanks guys as usual for your help.xx

Heard from my contact, his contact has been a bit off in the health department, so might be a bit slow in getting info to/from her. But fingers crossed!

Email Nedpoint for quarantine questions Lipi. I seem to remember they are in Oklahoma too. I have room, but..... don't want to be responsible for a horse that is not mine, with facility not up to standard.
