Bike Theif!

Re: Bike Theif!
I had my bike nicked at uni and it is really irritating. In a way its even worse when it isn't worth much cos someone has deprived you of your transport and they cant even really sell it for anything, why bother. I went nuts about mine cos they bust a £20 lock to nick a bike worth £10 of anyones money. I really do feel for you, it is so anoying.
Re: Bike Theif!
Hate it when that happens... it's always at inconvenient times too :x
If you have a bike that you really want to be able to recover if it's stolen, make sure you have it properly registered and that you have pictures of it. Some people recommend taking a picture of yourself with the bike, rolling it up, and stuffing it into the seat post in case it's later found.
But for most bikes, the reality is you will probably never see them again, so hefty U-locks are the way to go--cables are just so easy to cut :(
Re: Bike Theif!
I got a new bike from Santa ^_^
It's a big men's bike but it's super nice. I miss my tiny bike, lol. This one we got at a pawn shop for $50, but apparently it's like a $350 bike. It says it's a mountain bike but it doesnt have great shocks so i don't know that I'll be taking it on trails any time soon.

Doesnt' matter it's value commercially to you it was perfect and theft is theft so I agree with you. :hammer
