Forums

Lemme see if this works... Day - Has difficulty staying on task, but gets good grades, likes to paint her nails - albeit with skulls, etc, but sorta girly. Likes to talk on the phone for hours. She is like her father! Likes to knit, bead, paint (everything and anything), sew, and just about any form of creativity. [img]http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs098.snc3/16553_1185798807…] She is the animal crazy one - that's the only thing she got from me I think [img]http://hphotos-sjc1.fbcdn.net/hs397.snc3/24147_1263194422325_1303669382…] Her jungle gym [img]http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs405.snc3/24547_1285908390160_1303669382…] Garrick - Can be pretty serious, 10th grade, starting college courses this summer. In all AP classes, 4th in his class, has college scholarship already, not really an animal lover (it's selective). Anal retentive - will not walk out of the house with a single animal hair on his clothing or shoes. Likes to play guitar, drums, and video games. Can be goofy: [img]http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs445.ash1/24524_1194538793…] [img]http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs218.snc1/8531_12064313313…]

Where is he going to college?

We always hear about Day... probably because she's out with you and the animals!

8-) Two very good looking adults in the making there!
I agree with Sara. Garrick is almost 'news' to us. You do talk about 'children' (plural) but could not have told you age nor gender.
Good to 'meet' him too.

Both good looking and well adjusted kids I reckon!! :)

Thanks!

Sara
He has a full scholarship at St John's (he wants to go to the Santa Fe location - I'd rather he go to Annapolis) , but I think he wants to see who else will offer. Ya, Garrick is a teen and rarely around anymore!

Edited to correct town!

Great kids! I can relate>> My little girl Sienna(5) is the animal mad/obsessed one here too and my boy Kyan(7) is totally anally retentive, from the day he was born I reckon(all in a good way of course ;-) ), neat freak(completely toilet trained by 18mths, just hated being messy  ) and amazingly smart! He admires reptiles--ie anything to do with Dinosaurs, he is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to that subject!
We home educate so they keep me busy and are loads of fun :-D

I have to remind myself of my age most days.....I forget I'm supposed to be an adult!
