What color is my horse?

Here he is, now at one month old. His sire is the silver blue roan sabino classic shetland and his dam is plain ol' black and white shetland. What do you suppose he is going to be? He looks like he has silver hairs intermingled with his colored ones. Yes, of course I am hoping for roan, but don't know if that's likely. He is turning from a mousy tan to a gray now.

Definitely black silver and I highly suspect roan.

Silver Blacks are typically born this colour.
I too suspect he may be Roan as he has a more solid head than is usual.

No, he is younger there, that is just foal coat. Roan on Silver, and on Grulla, is notoriously hard to see in the foal coat. I could have sworn this filly

Was Roan but she does not appear to be.
I am going purely on the atypical head colouring.
