Is this some kind of roaning??

This is Prince my yearling colt that I just clipped yesterday he is out of my mare Shadowplay Sahara Moon (Dunalino that I think has sooty) and by a chestnut stallion Banners MC Xzibit aka Teddy. I got Teddy when he was 9 yrs of age and he had a spray of white hairs on his forehead - like someone flicked white paint on him. He has a lot more now as he is 18 yrs young and well he forgets to use his "Just for Minis" :lol: Anyway Prince has a white splodge that sits more over 1 eye and then spreads out a little. When I clipped him he also had patches but not really a marking under his belly round the stifle area and behind the front legs. I also think he might have sooty as his lower legs as a foal looked dirty and even clipping you could see the darker hair. Hard to see now as he is freshly clipped.
