silver bay pinto or chestnut pinto

this mare is reg chestnut pinto , her dam is visually the exact same colour and gave birth to a solid bay , there was controversy about who the sire of the bay was so both parents were tested and it came back that both parents were correct , it turned out the mare had been wrongly registered as red when in fact she tested as silver bay , so what colour do you think this mare is first pic unclipped , pic 2 and 3 clipped and pic 4 as a foal

I think I'm going to go with chestnut on her although I could be wrong. The thing that is making me think chestnut is the very red foal coat and the fact that the eye lashes don't' appear to be white, although, in that photo it is a bit hard to tell.

I think chestnut, silver bay foals seem to have a hint of a 'greyish' look in the mane and tail, rather than just look completely red. Same with the adult pictures, there is a hint of red in the mane that I wouldn't expect to see on a silver bay
