Paly or Cremello?

Hey all :newbie ...new to posting. I've always browsed around here tho! My friend's mare just foaled this morning. The mare is a Paly and the sire is a Cremello. *same sire I used for my mare due in a month* Well I say the foal is a paly but there are so many that say she's a cremello. I am not grasping onto that cremello bit at all. I've seen palominos foaled and all of them were peachy pink around the mouth and eyes and slowly darkened up. The eyes also were a darker blue and they turned brown after a couple months. I've only seen two cremellos foaled and they were bright white, bright pink skin, super ice blue eyes. I own a perlino. so...edumacate me please *the dam is blind*

I'd say that looks palomino to me. You're probably on the right track.

Anyone else have an opinion?

Definitly a pali...I've even had pali foals born so light you could barely tell they were pali and not cremello themselves (had to be, all dams were chestnuts/sorrels). BUT, like you stated, the cremellos eyes are a lot lighter and stay that way, whereas the pali foals eyes are a dark blue (I think of newborn baby or puppy blues...) and darken within a few months as does their coats.

If it were my mare I would do the bell!
