Pretty colt- yes, to answer the question, they do not have to be born white and are sometimes born solid, to all intents and purposes, but fade very quickly, sometimes it seems before your eyes!!

Thanks, rabbit. I like the pattern on the ears - especially the rings at the base - and the dark socks are so precious. I don't think I have ever seen an LP foal with these markings. If anybody has pictures, please share! ;)
