I'm thinking silver. Probably bay silver, but could be silver buckskin. Could possibly even be black or smokey black silver.

No no, I just find it amusing that you and I think the EXACT opposite on these two horses (and they happen to be the same color choices).

Has this pony been clipped, not long ago? I wish they had pics taken over a few days as I think the lighting could also contributing to the light colouring of his body.

I'm leaning towards chestnut (perhaps liver) with flaxen but if silver, silver black.
